Your dad got all the texts I had been sending you so that was slightly awkward and a little embarrassing because I texted you every time I thought about you and yearned for you to be on the other side of the phone. Watching that first message be sent, I stopped and watched it for a good 10 minutes. I knew that I wasn’t going to get a text back but every part of my heart hoped for it.
