Ellaina Grace Everingham was born in 2000 in Show Low, Arizona and was deeply loved as a daughter, sister, and friend. She was a junior at Northern Arizona University, pursuing her studies with curiosity and purpose, and had already lived a life marked by depth, intention, and care for others.
Ellaina invested deeply in her relationships. She truly cared about people—listening well, showing up consistently, and making others feel known and valued. Her presence carried a quiet strength and warmth that left a lasting impression. She had a way of bringing light into ordinary moments and meaning into everyday life.
During her time at NAU, Ellaina spent a semester studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, an experience that reflected her openness to the world and her desire to learn, grow, and engage with life beyond herself.
Ellaina’s life on earth ended tragically in a car accident on the day after Christmas in 2021, as she was returning to Flagstaff from home. Her death came far too soon, but her impact did not end with her passing.
She is survived by her parents and her seven siblings, who continue to carry her legacy forward. Though deeply missed, Ellaina is remembered with gratitude and hope. Her family holds fast to the promise that death is not the end, and that in Christ, separation is temporary. Her life continues to point toward what is eternal—love, faith, and the hope of reunion.
